She described herself as incredibly shy and awkward, not someone who came by her talent honestly.
She described herself as a horrible guitarist (well, at least she tried).
‘O-o-h Child’ – actually a cover of a 1970 song – was featured in ‘Over the Edge,’ a film that starred Matt Dillon.
While she did the vocals for Jan Mouse in ‘The Devil and Daniel Mouse (1978),’ in which Sebastian was featured, she was credited as Laurel Runn.

She was described as a delicate diminutive figure possessing a powerfully smoky and sultry voice.
At least two songs were written about her (Steve Winwood’s ‘Valerie’ and Jackson Browne’s ‘That Girl Could Sing’).
Taylor was one of the attendees at her graduation from a drug court program, nearly two years after two drug possession arrests in 2009.
Her mother and sister would continue to oversee her official fan club on Facebook.
