    He made a huge profit off of 'Tears In Heaven,' a tribute song for his 4 year old son who had an accidental death.
    He was addicted to alcohol and drugs.
    He was hospitalized for depression.
    His license was taken away after doing 134 mph driving his Porsche in France (October 12, 2004).

    His guitar riffs have become classic.
    He has opened his own rehab centers.
    He overcame his own addictions.
    He was born to a 16 year old out of wedlock; her parents (his grandparents) raised him as though he was their son. He was told at age nine that what he thought was his sister, was really his mom.
