The Resume

    (April 24, 1916-April 28, 2002)
    Birth name is Lajos Tiza
    Wrestled for the NWA
Former World Heavyweight Champion and NWA Heavyweight Champion
    Author of 'Hooker'

Why he might be annoying:

After a vicious beating he took from Ed 'Strangler' Lewis, he actually retired from wrestling and Lewis had to talk him into not giving up so easily.
In stead of winning his first NWA title, it was just given to him by NWA promoters, when the champion, Orville Brown, was injured in a car accident.
He let personal differences with wrestlers interfere with business.
He refused to put certain wrestlers over, in particular Buddy Rogers, saying: 'There isn't enough whiskey in Canada to get me to put Rogers over.'
When he realized that he could make more in Japan than in the United States, he resigned as NWA Heavyweight Champion.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is considered by many to be the single greatest professional wrestler of all-time.
His wrestling career spanned over seven decades.
Most of his matches would last an hour, sometimes longer.
He was legitimately tough and promoters would make him the champion of a promotion because they trusted that he would be able to fight off anybody who refused to lose and try to pull fast ones in the ring.
He held the World Heavyweight Title a total of six times in four decades.
He was the last person to hold the World Heavyweight Title.
He won the belt for the first time at the age of 21, making him the youngest man to hold a world heavyweight championship.
He holds the record for longest world title reign, holding the World Heavyweight Title for eight years.
He was the first NWA Heavyweight Champion to wrestle in Japan and his match with Rikidozan drew an amazing 87.0 rating, making him a star in Japan.
His book, although not a big seller, is highly praised amongst those in the business and it's mandatory reading at some wrestling camps.
He received the PWI Editor's Award in 1982.
He's a member of the WCW Hall of Fame, The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
