Why they might be annoying:

Isabel says she hates her haunting and smoky voice and she told the other members to try to find another singer, but none of the auditions were a success so they kept Isabel.
In late 1995, their label 'Polygram' dropped them, causing Mike to moved back to America, Isabel had to sell her well known bass guitar and some shows were played without a drummer.
    Fans thought they broke up.

Why they might not be annoying:

By 1998, they were signed to 'Roadrunner Records' and Mike rejoined the group, making them successful again.
Their name, 'Drugstore,' was taken from the classic indie movie, 'Drugstore Cowboy' and they did it in honor of the film's maker, 'Gus Van Sant.'
They've been constantly compared to Radiohead and critics have said that they have some of Radiohead's 'brilliant art rock dynamics' and 'dreamy psychedelic rock flows.'
They wrote a tribute song called 'My Radiohead.'
When Isabel was nineteen years old, her husband was killed in a car accident and the song 'Super Glider' is a song about the incident.
Their single, 'Solitary Party Groover' earned them a lot of different music awards.
They toured with Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Tindersticks, Echobelly and Gene.
