Why he might be annoying:

She grew up rich.
She smoked a pipe.
She called herself 'Miss Agnes.'
Many parents worried that she would turn their daughters into tomboys by teaching them how to survive in the outdoors.
She disapproved of boys and girls playing together.

Why he might not be annoying:

She loved the outdoors.
She wanted girls to have the same scouting opportunities as boys.
She continued with the Girl Guides until she died.
She was an excellent, musician, nurse and cook.
