Why he might be annoying
He is a male nurse.
He formed a so called 'invincible' alliance of four (too bad there were five people around to break it up and vote him out).
He made a big deal about the troubles of being a gay man in today's society but later revealed that he occasionally dates women (70/30 split).
He was accident prone on 'Survivor,' being stung by a sea urchin and getting his finger torn apart by an eel.
He tried to emulate gay 'Survivor' winner Richard Hatch by stripping nude for the camera (he was kicked off a few episodes later).
He cried after being voted out.
Why he might not be annoying
He survived a hate crime and it made him champion gay rights, with a cross-country tour in the works.
His skills as a registered nurse helped his fellow tribe mates in times of injury or fatigue.
If he had won 'Survivor' he would have made sure his mother retired early, without having to work a dead-end job for another ten years.
