    Portrayed Peter de Vilbis in nine episodes of Dynasty (1983-84)

Why he might be annoying:

    He did so much cocaine in the 70s he had a gold razor blade for chopping it and a gold straw on a chain for inhaling it.
    After filming 'Ludwig,' he felt that the Bavarian king took over his real life persona and he had to check into a sanitarium to recover.
    He urinated off a hotel balcony onto the patrons of an outdoor cafe.
    He considers Fidel Castro attractive. ('A sexy bitch')
    During a feud with actor Alain Delon he seduced Delon's wife then, 'To make my success complete, I contacted a journalist and made sure that Delon got to know about the whole affair.'
    He described working on 'Dynasty' as 'crying on the way to the set, but laughing on the way to the bank.'
    He did not age well.

Why he might not be annoying:

    While watching a film being shot, he was spotted among the onlookers by director Luchino Visconti, who began casting him in his films.
    He described his twelve-year relationship with Visconti as a marriage and wrote, 'I will be his widow until the end of my life.'
    After he imitated Marlene Dietrich in 'The Damned,' the actress sent him a photo with the inscription, 'Who's prettier? Love, Marlene.'
    He said, 'Boredom and injustice are the things I hate the most.'
    He has made films in German, Italian, French and English.
    Director Claude Chabrol said, 'All the people only talk about Berger's scandals, but nobody says that he is one of the first people on the set in the morning and he knows his script perfectly.'
