The Resume

    (January 18, 1904-September 17, 1935)
    Born in Baraboo, Wisconsin
    New York Giants (1932)
    Brooklyn Dodgers (1934-1935)
    Died in Toronto, Canada
Beaten to death with a fire extinguisher at 31

Why he might be annoying:

While in mid-air, he started a drunken brawl with the flight crew of his chartered airplane.
He harassed stewardess Elaine Woodward and bit co-pilot Irwin Davis on the shoulder.
The altercation with Davis caused the plane to rock back and forth for fifteen minutes.
Pilot William Joseph Mulqueeney turned away from the controls, grabbed a fire extinguisher, and hit Koenecke on the back of the head as the plane veered wildly in the sky.

Why he might not be annoying:

Prior to his professional baseball career, he worked as a fireman.
He left behind a toddler daughter.
Team members from both the Dodgers and Giants recalled his likable personality.
Mulqueeney and Davis were each charged with manslaughter after investigators viewed the plane's blood-splattered interior.
