Why he might be annoying:

    His debut album was cockily titled 'Don Ho Show' (1965).
    His sophomore record was equally self serving; 'Don Ho - Again!' (1966).
    He portrayed 'himself' in the TV series 'Batman,' 'I Dream Of Jeannie,' 'The Brady Bunch,' 'Sanford and Son,' 'Charlie's Angels,' 'Fantasy Island' and 'The Fall Guy.' (overkill)
    On continuing to perform up til his death, he stated, 'A lot of people out there come every year to get their 'Tiny Bubbles' fix. So as long as they keep coming, I might as well keep doing it.'
    He is a 'Ho.'

    He served in the U.S. Air Force.
    He was married to the same woman since 1951.
    His 'Tiny Bubbles' album stayed on Billboard's Easy Listening Top 20 chart for nearly a year (1966-67).
    He traveled to Thailand to receive experimental heart treatment not offered in the U.S. involving stem cells taken from his blood and injecting them into his heart to strengthen it (December 2005).
    He learned of the treatment (which he claims saved his life) through the Internet.
    He is a Hawaiian institution.
