The Resume

    (January 10, 1988- )
    Michelle Joann Fields
    Columnist for The Huffington Post
Former Fox News Channel contributor, former Breitbart News Network reporter
Published 'Barons of the Beltway: Inside the Princely World of our Washington Elite,' in June 2016
Accused Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, of violently grabbing her by the arm and throwing her to the ground after a news conference (Mar. 10, 2016)
Claims resulted in Lewandowski turning himself in to the police on Simple Battery charges; Video of the encounter was later released revealing that Fields had heavily exaggerated its severity
Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg later filed court documents announcing that his office would not prosecute Lewandowski (Apr. 14, 2016)

Why she might be annoying:

She speaks with a fake 'Valley-girl' dialect.
She walked out of an interview with Mark Dice and later accused him of 'sexually harassing' her because he complimented her looks (2011).
She claimed to have been shoved to the ground by the NYPD, who proceeded to beat her with their batons at an Occupy Wall Street protest - and later bragged about making herself the focus of the story (2012).
She accused Rep. Allen West of sexually assaulting her and then went silent when the claims were challenged (2013).
She was sued for defamation after Dina Lohan of snorting cocaine with her daughter (2015).
She literally tried to make a federal case out of someone pulling her arm after she penetrated a Secret Service security bubble.
The accusations came at a time when the Trump campaign was experiencing high levels of criticism over escalating violence at rallies. The media couldn't have asked for a more perfect 'victim.'
Before it was clear that footage of the confrontation actually existed, she claimed to Megyn Kelly that the experience was the worst in her life, second only to the death of her father.
When the campaign pushed back and questioned the claims, she tweeted out a photo of a bruise on her arm, which appeared to have been self-inflicted.
When she was asked in an ABC News interview what she would say to Trump if she had a chance to speak to him, she said she would ask him to 'imagine that I was his daughter.'
She got into a Twitter beef with Sean Hannity when he declined to push Trump over the incident at a Town Hall interview (Hannity attested to not having seen anything questionable in the video).
The fallout from the incident resulted in Fields resigning from her Breitbart News job, and getting fired from a panelist role on the Fox News program, 'Cashing In.'
She got into a heated argument with NewsMax's Steve Malzberg while promoting her 'Barons' book after she denied including a passage about the Lewandowski incident in the book (she had inserted a passage into the book as the book underwent publication).

Why she might not be annoying:

    She is of Honduran descent.
    She is an expert self-promoter.
She received a Political Science degree from Pepperdine University, (2011).
She first attained notoriety after entrapping Matt Damon during an argument over teacher tenure reform.
She was featured in Details Magazine as being part of 'The Next Wave of Political Pundits' (2014).
She was named by The Hill as one of the 50 most beautiful people in Washington, D.C. (2015).
She was defended by her then-boyfriend/fiance, Daily Caller editor, Jamie Weinstein, and former Breitbart News writer, Ben Shapiro, during the Trump incident (both of whom attacked Lewandowski as 'a thug' and called for him to be fired).
Her choice of footwear came under fire after the video of the rally was released (many reasoned that if she hadn't been wearing stiletto heels at the time, she wouldn't have stumbled when Lewandowski pulled her back).
She did express sympathy for Lewandowski after his firing, noting in her Malzberg interview that 'he has a family to support' (granted, Malzberg pointed out that this didn't seem to bother her when she was trying to get him thrown in jail).
