For some reason, she says the bulk of her fan mail comes from Poland, Germany and Sweden.
She wore three wigs and layers of latex and gravel and cardboard to play Haneek.
She said: ‘One had to stand in the shower for at least 15 minutes until a "bubble" of water formed under the makeup. Then, it was slowly peeled away from forehead to neck. Not fun for those subject to feeling claustrophobia.’

Why she might not be annoying:

She won Miss Indiana in 1970, and a year later was named Miss Congeniality at the Miss America pageant (she also won a Talent Award for singing ‘Impossible Dream’).
She directed a documentary on the history of women and the non-violent resistance movement in South Africa during apartheid.
The documentary won Best Short Film at the Amiens International Film Festival in 1983.
She guested on the shows L.A. Law, Larry Sanders Show, and E.R.
