The Resume

    (1943-1945)
Based in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada
Actual name was the St. Hyacinthe–Donnacona Navy Club
    Amateur football team
Member of the Quebec Rugby Football Union
    Grey Cup champions (1944)

Why St. Hyacinthe Donnies might be annoying:

Their Grey Cup victory is largely ignored by Canadian football fans.
Some Canadian football pundits discredit their victory as a result of them being an amateur team.
They reached the Grey Cup by default, as the WIFU and the IRFU suspended operations for the duration of World War II.
Their players were forced to pay for their Grey Cup rings out of their own pocket.
They ceased a year after winning the Grey Cup.

Why St. Hyacinthe Donnies might not be annoying:

They were predominantly assembled with members of the Naval reserve.
They were the first team based out of Québec to win the Grey Cup.
They were the last amateur team to win the Grey Cup.
Their team name was a combination of the HMCS St. Hyacinthe communications training school and the HMCS Donnacona naval reserve division, both of which supplied the roster.
Their 1944 victory was recognized by the CFL 50 years later (1994).
