Despite his small stature, he was considered a durable running back by football pundits.
He left West Virginia as the university football program's all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing yard attempts.
He didn't hit his stride as a pro football player until he signed with the Alouettes.
He scored two touchdowns in the Alouettes comeback victory in the 2009 Grey Cup, earning MVP honors in the process.
