Directed the short films 'Vic' (2006) and 'The Agent' (2010)
Found dead in his Studio City home at age 36 (July 13, 2012)
Believed to have been dead for three days to a week

Why he might be annoying:

His first movie role was playing his real-life father's fictional son.
His marriage to Starlin Wright was annulled before it reached their first anniversary.
His death was reported to be a result of an overdose of prescription pills.
TMZ claimed that he 'lived like Howard Hughes' in a room 'littered with junk.'
Disappointingly, Sly did not name his siblings Parsley, Rosemary and Thyme.

Why he might not be annoying:

He claimed nepotism played no part in his being cast in 'Rocky V' and kept a straight face, so he had some acting talent.
He said appearing with his dad in 'Rocky V' was cathartic and improved their relationship: 'When I was screaming, 'You never spent time with me! You never spent time with my mother!' that was true.'
He and film editor Bob Murawski founded Grindhouse Releasing to preserve and restore 70s exploitation flicks.
His friend and attorney George Braunstein said, 'He knew everything about movies. The man was a walking encyclopedia of film.'
