    He met his wife Susan while training at the National Theatre School of Canada.
    He won a Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor for ‘Solitaire’ in 1992.
    He was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries for ‘Betrayed’ in 2003.
    He lent his voice to several video game franchises, including as Armando-Owen Bailey in the ‘Mass Effect’ series and General Tullius in ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ game.
    His career was cut short after he sustained a brain injury and paralysis after falling and hitting his head (February 17, 2020).
    The accident led to several crowdfunding efforts from Battlestar Galactica cast members and fans to raise money for his medical expenses.
