Why he might be annoying:

He pretentiously wears #1.
He was just barely eligible to enter the NFL draft in 2004.
The reason he was eligible for entering the draft as a 20 year old sophomore is because he attended prep school for one year before entering college.
He left college for the NFL as a sophomore.
His biggest setback as a soon-to-be NFL football player is that he may be inexperienced.
Sean Taylor, who was drafted after him, completely dominated him when Miami played against Pittsburgh.

Why he might not be annoying:

He attended the Valley Forge Military Academy as a teenager.
He credits the Military Academy with giving him discipline.
His father, Larry, played for the New York Giants.
His mother died of breast cancer when he was 19.
He set an NCAA record by scoring a touchdown in 18 consecutive games.
Had he been rejected from entering the draft, he would have returned 'to Pittsburgh for another season without a legal challenge,' unlike Maurice Clarett.
His younger brother, Marcus, is a running back/cornerback at Marshall University.
