Operates the characters Scooter, Janice, Beaker, Statler and Sweetums on ‘The Muppet Show’ and in many Muppet films
Operates puppets in ‘Sesame Street (1970-1992)’ and ‘Emmett Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas (1977)’

Why he might be annoying:

He was flamboyant.
He tried to invent wacky catch phrases, but they never caught on.
He was balding.
He grew up in show business.
He was the original performers of Miss Piggy and Elmo, but was replaced by other puppeteers.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was well liked on the set of ‘The Muppet Show.’
He was also considered one of the finest technical puppeteers.
He had a zany sense of humor.
He became one of Jim Henson’s core team of performers.
He was very professional.
He died of AIDS.
His death was overshadowed at the time by the death of Jim Henson.
