Why he might be annoying:

He grew up rich.
He was not well-liked by the rest of the owners in the NFL.
He threatened to move the Chiefs if taxpayers wouldn’t pay for a rolling roof to cover the Chiefs and Royals stadiums, when he could easily pay for it and make the money back within a couple months. Despite the scare tactics he used, people voted against his roof. The campaign team for his roof spent over $2,600 for every $1 the campaign against it spent, and they still lost.
He owned three M.L.S. teams. Two of them are in the same division as each other.
The NFL turned down his offer to buy an expansion franchise, so he turned to the AFL.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame for his patronage of soccer in the U.S.
He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame because he co-founded the World Championship Tennis Circuit.
He helped organize the American Football League, which would eventually merge with the NFL, and start the Super Bowl.
He came up with the name for the Super Bowl.
He personally chose Hank Stram to be his head coach. Stram went on to lead Kansas City to its first Super Bowl win.
The AFC Championship trophy is named after him.
