She recorded with singer Paul McNeil under the moniker 'Paul and Linda' in the 1960s.
She lost her voice due to a condition called hysterical dysphonia.
During a 1982 US tour, she smashed the mirrors in her dressing room.
She and Richard went through a bitter divorce.
She could be confused with Bruce Jenner's ex-wife, Linda Thompson.

She was dubbed 'rock's best woman singer' by Time Magazine.
She regained her voice and returned to recording in 2002.
She wrote 'Tell Me Lies,' which was recorded by Linda Ronsdadt, Dolly Parton, and Emmylou Harris on their 'Trio' album and received a Grammy nomination.
