Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

Unlike his father, he bounced around the major leagues during his formative years.
Some baseball pundits felt he was trying to capitalize on his father's baseball credentials.
Some San Diego Padre fans felt his trade to the team was done for nostalgic reasons.
He played his college baseball at San Diego State as a result of his dad's job as the team's manager.
He failed to crack the Brewers roster on a full-time basis, which led to his trade to San Diego.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the brother of R & B artist Anisha Nicole.
Rather than request his dad's #19 upon being traded to the Padres, he wore #18 citing he didn't want to tarnish his father's legacy with the team.
He was part of a ground breaking lineup when he, along with teammates Jerry Hairston, Jr., Scott Van Slyke, Dee Gordon and Ivan DeJesus, Jr., were the first tandem of second generation players to be in the starting lineup for the same team (June 1, 2012).
He recorded his first Major League hit on the 24th anniversary of his dad's first Major League game.
He established himself as an everyday player upon being traded to the Padres.
