Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He spent his entire career on all three of MLB's bird nicknamed teams.
He spent the majority of the 2001 season on the disabled list.
Despite being the face of the Blue Jays in the late 1990's, he was traded to St. Louis for little in return.
Most baseball buffs remember him as the pitcher who surrendered Gary Sheffield's 400th career home run.
A week after surrendering the home run, he announced his retirement at mid-season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of the Jays second World Series championship team (1993).
He established himself as the ace of the Jays pitching staff in the mid 1990's.
His 20-10 record and his eventual Cy Young Award win happened during the Jays dismal 74-88 season.
He retired among the Jays franchise leaders in career wins, starts and innings pitched.
He admitted that his pitching velocity deteriorated dramatically, which was a major factor in his retirement.
