Why Space Cases might be annoying:

It never won a single award.
It re-used props from the other Nickelodeon shows including 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?'
It was cancelled after 27 episodes, ending with a cliffhanger episode.
It has a pilot episode that never aired in the United States.
Nickelodeon made a new opening for the first season with the music from the its second season after the show ended its run.

Why Space Cases might not be annoying:

The spaceship in the show is named after Christa McAuliffe, a teacher who died in the 1986 Challenger Disaster.
One episode had a crossover reference with 'Babylon 5' as Radu found a teddy bear that was tossed in space.
The episode titles from its first season came from popular songs.
George Takei, Mark Hamill, Katey Sagal, Michelle Trachtenberg, Danny Tamberelli and Bill Mumy made guest star appearances on the show.
Jewel Staite had her first major TV role on the show.
