Football Player

The Resume

    (September 5, 1960- )
    Born in Griffin, Georgia
    Middle name is James
Wide receiver for the Chicago Bears (1983–87) and Los Angeles Raiders (1988–93)
    Attended the University of Tennessee

Why he might be annoying:

He was on MTV's Parental Control.
He qualified for the 1980 U.S. Olympic team but missed out when the United States team boycotted the event in Moscow.
He never won the NFL's 'Fastest Man' competition, despite being dubbed one of the fastest in the league.
He feuded with Jim McMahon, (who accused him of only putting in effort if the game was televised nationally) and Mike Ditka (claimed to have traded him because he wouldn't choose between an acting career and football).
He did a guest spot on Still Standing that had Bill and Judy steal his Super Bowl ring and accidentally reveal he was getting a divorce to his seven year-old.

Why he might not be annoying:

His parents both worked in a textile mill.
He ran the 100-yard dash in 9.2 seconds in college.
He was named to the All-American team in 1982.
He took ballet classes in college to improve his skills as a wide receiver.
He was part of the legendary Chicago Bears lineup that culminated in a 1986 Super Bowl championship.
He had roles on Friday Night Lights, Ned's DeClassified, and West Wing.
Given McMahon's and Ditka's own famous antics, its pretty hard to think the fault rests solely with Gault in either case.
