Why she might be annoying:

    Careful, a Google search looking for her Orbit work is more likely to turn up results for her successor (Farris Patton).
    Since she could speak Mandarin and wind up with a solid overseas job (in their eyes), her parents did not initially approve of the idea of her going into acting.
    She regards Ryan Gosling as an inspiration.
    She loved being nomadic, or constantly on the move.
    She describes her appearances in the first two Pirates films as ‘if you blink you will miss her.’
    Instead of a different adjective for each Orbit ad, she insisted on the exact same punchline regardless of setting (‘Fabulous!’).

Why she might not be annoying:

    Called on to tutor two young Newport Beach girls in French, she eventually moved in with the family.
    While attending a Pennsylvania academy, she worked on a farm.
    She was offered a key role in a stage play the semester she was set to study abroad in China.
    Unlike her American successor, she is a real Briton — though she herself later became an emigrant.
    She regards Michael Caine, Judi Dench, and Helen Mirren – among others – as inspirations.
    She also speaks French.
