    His name was actually spelt Ramond.
    He frequently bounced between the Stars and their farm affiliate in Austin.
    Some hockey pundits felt he never had a fair chance to earn a full-time roster spot for the Stars as a result of the coaching turnover.
    He played on five teams in a six year span after leaving the Stars.
    He recorded one career point in eleven career NHL games.

    He was of both Italian and Japanese descent.
    He majored in nutritional sciences at Cornell University.
    He scored his lone NHL goal in his first game, which was coincidentally on his birthday (February 19, 2009).
    He worked as a firefighter for the Burnaby Fire Department at the time of his death.
    He succumbed to a heart attack while playing a game of recreation league hockey (April 10, 2023).
