Why she might be annoying:

    She was the first Playmate to acknowledge she was married. Others had been married before her, but she was the first to make it public in the magazine.
    Her husband, James Arthur, supported her decision to pose for Playboy after winning the title of Mrs. Ohio in 1990.
    She was also the mother of two children when she posed for Playboy.
    She was one of Playboy's first Playmates to participate in a 1-900 phone service to talk to a Playmate model.
    She thought the 1-900 number would help her campaign for Playmate of the Year.

Why she might not be annoying:

    One caller, James Lindberg, became obsessed with Stacy and her family, and began sending them gifts while repeatedly calling.
    She did not consider Lindberg's behavior overly dangerous, as other fans had behaved the same way.
    On October 28, 1991, Lindberg met James Arthur in a parking lot and gave him a present to giive to Stacy. The next day, Lindberg met James again and shot him four times, killing him.
    Lindberg killed himself after killing James.
    It turned out that Lindberg spent $15,000 calling the Playboy 1-900 number.
    In 1992, she accused three Playboy employees of raping her. The case was dismissed when the three claimed that the sex was consensual, but they were fired for having sex while on the job.
