The Resume

    (circa 1978- )
    Resided in Portland, Oregon
    Former CFO
Best known for his video rant criticizing Chick-Fil-A's support of anti-gay marriage groups
Directed his rant at worker Rachel Elizabeth
Lost his CFO job at Vante (Tuscon-based medical manufacturer)
Lost his $200K a year salary and $1 million in stock options from his dismissal
Authored 'Million Dollar Cup of Water'
Appeared on ABC News to talk about his fall from grace after the video backlash (Spring 2015)

Why he might be annoying:

He is a douchebag and totally looks the part!
He began his protest by ordering free water at a franchise.
Then he recorded himself hashing it out on the worker, Rachel Elizabeth, at the window then later uploaded the reel on his YouTube channel (Summer 2012).
He showed up to work the next day and was fired as Vante received hundreds of bomb threats in their voicemail.
He acquired another job 1200 miles away in Portland but was fired two weeks later when their CFO found out about his video.
Even gay rights supporters were disgusted over his treatment of Rachel.
In the many months (eventually almost three years as of Spring 2015) that followed, he was unable to get a job offer and had to rely on food stamps to feed his family.
His book documenting his downfall sold only 17 copies on Amazon (as of Spring 2015) – but had 23 bad reviews.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Karma is a bitch!
He shares his name with a pioneer economist.
Rachel became an accidental celebrity herself, garnering support from the masses.
He took a stance against Chick-Fil-A's funding anti-gay marriage organizations (of course he could have expressed it in a more respectful manner.)
His apology video also had his expressing how impressed he was at Rachel's ability to remain graceful and professional while he scapegoated her.
Rachel eventually accepted his apology and expressed empathy over his downfall.
His family went from living in a beautiful home on a 3.5 acre Arizona property to a teeny rental house in Portland.
His four young sons say that the best part of their dad being unemployed is that he has time to spend with them all day.
He is a case study on why you should be careful recording something then uploading it on social media – right Alexandra Wallace???
