Why Church's Texas Chicken might be annoying:

It gets eclipsed by the chicken king KFC when it comes to fried chicken popularity in America.
    Their fries are crinkly.
They offer jalapeno peppers and deep-fried okra as sides.
Founder George died only four years after the company’s inception.

Why Church's Texas Chicken might not be annoying:

It ranked ninth on the most popular fast food fried chicken list in America. (Chick-fil-A, KFC and Popeyes rank first, second and third, respectively.)
In Canada, where it is known as Church’s Chicken, it is more popular than KFC and Popeyes .
Customers can purchase ready-to-eat corn cobs with their chicken.
Their recipe yields chicken with lightly crispy skin and succulent meat, tastier than KFC.
His family took over operations after George’s death.
Their foundation provides $1000 scholarships for family members of employees. Corporate aided franchisees (who had to close their dining areas) during 2020 Covid-19 by deferring a smaller portion of their royalties.
