Convicted of four counts of murder, 34 counts of attempted murder, and forming a terrorist organization and sentenced to life in prison (April 28, 1977)
Committed suicide in prison with a smuggled gun

Why he might be annoying:

He constantly called women 'cunts,' including his girlfriends and female members of the RAF.
Although he never got a driver's license, he was obsessed with cars, repeatedly stealing expensive sports cars.
After being convicted of arson, his lawyers convinced authorities that he had signed a book deal that required collaborating with journalist Ulrike Menhof.
During a meeting under police guard at a library, he and Meinhof escaped with the assistance of three gun-toting RAF members (May 14, 1970).
The RAF planted pipe bombs throughout West Germany.
Jean-Paul Sartre visited him in prison and called him an idiot.
He and other RAF prisoners kept their cells dirty and disgusting to discourage searches for contraband.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine tried to get him (and three RAF co-defendants) released by hijacking a Lufthansa jet (October 13, 1977).
Five days later, German special forces freed the hostages. Baader and the three other RAF leaders then decided to commit suicide.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was left handed.
He was well endowed and wore tight jeans to emphasize it.
His father was taken prisoner on the Russian Front during WWII and never returned.
When he died, his brain was taken without permission for study. It was later reported to have been lost.
