Why he might be annoying:

He interpolates the name of his daughter Nina into most of his drawings.
The 'Ninas' are so skillfully woven into the drawings that you can get caught up trying to find them all and lose the beauty of the picture.
A professor received a grant from the Pentagon to use finding the 'Ninas' as map reading tests for pilots.
Many people purchase his art, hoping it will go up in value when he dies.

Why he might not be annoying:

He helps you out by placing a number next to his signature, telling you how many 'Ninas' are in the picture.
He collaborated on many books with humorist S.J. Perlman.
A documentary about his life was nominated for an Academy Award.
He was the first American artist to be allowed to sign his name to postage stamp artwork.
He won a special Tony Award for lifetime achievement.
He was married to actress Dolly Haas for over fifty years.
One year, for Nina's birthday, he drew a picture of Dolly and him called 'Nina's Revenge,' containing dozens of 'Als' and 'Dollys,' but no 'Ninas.'
