Why Tonga might be annoying:

Queen Salote wore a dress of dried leafs to Queen Elizabeth's coronation (1952).
Its people suffer cyclones, earthquakes and volcanic activity.
The people are not Tongues but Tongans.
The king is a constitutional monarch; prime minister and deputy prime minister appointed for life by the king.
The country must import a high proportion of its food, mainly from New Zealand.
Currency is pa'anga and seniti.
Only 6% of the population have a telephone and less that 2% have televisions.
Fishing on Sunday, is illegal, license or not.
Its people put out a set of stamps in the shape of bananas.

Why Tonga might not be annoying:

It is a tropical climate with trade winds.
The islands are of limestone.
Near Tonga is a 28,500 foot mountain, it starts at 29,700 feet below in the ocean.
The capital is Nuku'alofa (The abode of love).
Captain Cook called them the Friendly Islands.
