    Forward for the Anaheim Ducks (2005-2007, 2013-2014), Edmonton Oilers (2007-2011), Los Angeles Kings (2011-2013) and the Washington Capitals (2014)

Why he might be annoying:

    He is considered the poster boy for restricted free agency foolishness.
    His signing with the Oilers led to a feud between Brian Burke and Kevin Lowe.
    He failed to live up to his potential with the Oilers after being signed to that inflated contract.
    He has been accused of not giving his all during games.
    Many hockey pundits frequently make a point about his salary when they talk about him.

    He made the Ducks as an undrafted free agent.
    He won a Stanley Cup in his first full season in the NHL.
    He is the first University of Maine alumni to win a Stanley Cup.
    Despite the criticism he received after signing the contract, he posted a career high 63 points (2009-10).
    While at Minot State-Bottineau, he overcame a broken femur to lead his team in scoring the following year.
