Won ten consecutive Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) World Barrel Racing Championships riding Scamper (1984-93)
Won an 11th title on Cruiser (2002)
Inducted into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame (1992) and ProRodeo Hall of Fame (2017)

Why she might be annoying:

She left high school to hit the rodeo circuit.
She came out of retirement for the Elite Rodeo Athletes Premier Tour (2016).
Since Scamper was a gelding and could not sire offspring, she paid $150,000 to have him cloned.
Scamper made it into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame two decades before she did.

Why she might not be annoying:

She earned her high school degree through a correspondence course.
She was the first barrel racer to win championships on two different horses.
She and Scamper won the barrel race at the National Finals Rodeo despite Scamper’s bridle falling off during the race (1985).
She was the first barrel racer to earn over $1 million in a career.
She was the first woman to be pro rodeo’s top money earner (1987).
