Why NBC Sports Network might be annoying:

    It heavily featured hunting and fishing shows in its early days.
    Some critics called the network 'the Lance Armstrong channel' because it heavily focused on the legendary cyclist during its coverage of the Tour de France.
    It aired repeats of reality TV series 'Survivor.'
    They aired inane Chuck Norris's World Combat League.
    As part of the new deal between NBC Sports and Comcast, the network underwent a major overhaul.

Why NBC Sports Network might not be annoying:

    It acquired NHL broadcasting rights with NBC in 2005 after it rejected a $60 million contract with ESPN.
    It also acquired exclusive rights for broadcasting Major League Soccer games.
    Since the transition from Versus to NBC Sports Network, the channel phased out reality programming such as 'Whacked Out Sports' and 'The T.Ocho Show.'
    They also air extensive Olympic Games coverage.
