    He is one of the few metal drummers who doesn't employ the double bass drum setup.
    His drumming style prompted music pundits to consider him one of the few drummers to be ahead of his time.
    He helped organize the benefit concert to help raise funds for his Deftones bandmate, Chi Cheng, who sustained serious injuries in a car crash (2008)
