Why Calgary Tigers might be annoying:

They had a nomadic existence, playing across four different leagues.
They went on hiatus for five seasons, before coming back to play in the North West Hockey League.
They had a uniform scheme similar to that of the Boston Bruins.
They were swept by the Montreal Canadiens in their lone Stanley Cup Finals appearance (1924).
They had financial problems in the years following their appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals, which played a role in their initial decision to cease operations.
They folded for good after their membership request to join the Pacific Coast Hockey League was denied.

Why Calgary Tigers might not be annoying:

They were the first professional hockey franchise to be based in Calgary.
They won a championship in every league they participated in.
They won their inaugural game as a professional franchise (December 1921).
They were honored by the city's successor franchise, the Calgary Flames, as the latter team opted to wear a uniform style based on the Tigers in their color scheme for the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic game.
They were the first Calgary based franchise to compete for the Stanley Cup.
They had great rivalries with the Edmonton franchises and the Vancouver Millionaires.
