Why Burger King (Fast Food Chain) might be annoying:

Its original name was Insta-Burger King.
Like Ray Kroc and McDonald's, David and James claim their Burger King was the first one, although the Insta-Burger King started up in Jacksonville a year earlier.
They always played second fiddle to McDonald's amongst its consumers throughout its history.
Their brand goes by the 'Hungry Jack's' moniker in Australia, as a result of a trademark dispute.
Their advertising campaigns took a significant nosedive in the 1980's and 1990's.
They introduced a creepy looking king mascot in the 2000's in an attempt to draw better advertising.
Some of its commercials during the early part of the 2000's were deemed sexist and culturally insensitive.
Some of their attempts to introduce new products to their customers backfired considerably.

Why Burger King (Fast Food Chain) might not be annoying:

They were the first hamburger restaurant to use the flame grilling technique.
Their hamburgers are actually big as advertised.
They are willing to adapt to their markets, as they have adapted their sandwiches to the markets they cater to.
The original owners were inspired to provide another fast food option after meeting with Dick and Mac McDonald.
Their flame grilled approach to cooking hamburgers proved to be popular with consumers.
They operate the Have It Your Way Foundation, which focuses on preventing hunger, disease prevention and providing scholarship opportunities to underprivileged children.
They did a great job keeping up with McDonald's in terms of marketing and menu changes in order to keep the customer base going.
In a show of good publicity, the company provided Joel Burger and Ashley King with products brandishing the company name, along with paying for their wedding (July 20, 2015).
