He continued wearing tight leather pants well after it had ceased to be a good look for him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He auditioned to be Loverboy’s drummer but was chosen for their lead singer.
He co-wrote several Loverboy hits, including ‘Turn Me Loose,’ ‘Working for the Weekend,’ ‘When It’s Over,’ and ‘This Could Be the Night.’
He lost 50 pounds in six months on a medically-supervised diet (2011).
His reaction to the SNL sketch with Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze as Chippendale auditionees holding a dance-off to ‘Working for the Weekend’: ‘I nearly pissed my pants.’
