Assistant coach at Michigan State University men's basketball team (1987-92, 2005-07), Houston Rockets (1992-2003), Golden State Warriors (2003-04), Indiana Pacers (2011-13), San Antonio Spurs (2013-15) and the Chicago Bulls (2015-18)
Head coach for the University of Utah men's basketball team (2007-11) and the Chicago Bulls (2018-20)

Why he might be annoying:

He is incredibly cocky and arrogant for a coach.
His name sounds close to that of former Bulls coach Jim Boylan.
His game clock management came into question, as he had a tendency to mismanage it.
His hard-nosed coaching style in Chicago led to his players revolting against him.
He posted a 39-84 record as the Bulls head coach.
He was fired by the Bulls a few days after publicly stating he would be coming back cause he felt the team 'didn't have the balls to fire him.'
