    Some viewed her as merely a 'legacy pick' (becoming the first woman to serve as Fed Chairman).
    She drew criticism from the right for supporting the Fed's stimulus policies.

    She graduated Brown University, and, earned her Ph.D. at Yale.
    She was a Professor Emeritus at California-Berkeley.
    She has a passion for finding ways to decrease the unemployment rate.
