You get labeled as a do-gooder or goody-two-shoes—not a whole lot of fun.

Why they might not be annoying
They are recognized in Christian philosophy.
Like the Sins, they are not given any set order or sequence as are the Commandments and Amendments.
We should all give the Devil his due.
Come to think of it, we really ought to give God his due, too.
Some reality television competitions actually encourage the idea of virtue. (Who knew?)
