Drafted 89th overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 1988 NFL Draft
Safety for the Green Bay Packers (1988-92), Phoenix Cardinals (1993) and the Houston Oilers (1995)
Served in various coaching capacities for the Tennessee Titans (2001-10), St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams (2012-16) and the University of Arizona

Why he might be annoying:

His trademark during his career was always having blood on the bridge of his nose, after making a vicious hit.
He was passed over for a college scholarship, as a result of his small stature.
His nickname 'Scud' came as a result of his hit-or-miss tackling style.
His career was ironically ended as a result of a concussion.
He was fined $40,000 after he was caught flipping off an official in protest to an on-field call (2010).

Why he might not be annoying:

He made the Arizona football team as a walk-on.
He earned Defensive Player of the Year honors while at Arizona (1987).
Ironically enough, he wore a helmet with extra padding, despite the fact he was a vicious hitter.
His intense style of play made him a fan favorite everywhere he played.
He was inducted into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame (1993) and the College Football Hall of Fame (2009).
