    Outfielder for the Atlanta Braves (1987–1993), Cincinnati Reds (1995), St. Louis Cardinals (1996–1998), Philadelphia Phillies (1999–2000), Anaheim Angels (2000), Colorado Rockies (2001), Oakland Athletics (2001, 2003) and the San Diego Padres (2002)
    Silver Slugger Award winner (1991)
    National League Comeback Player of the Year (1995)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was notorious for striking out at key times in a game.
    He earned notoriety after he got into a bar altercation with congress candidate Connie Mack IV.
    He broke his leg in an ATV accident months after signing one of the richest contracts in Braves history, which caused him to miss the entire 1994 season and the Braves to void his contract.
    His productivity went into decline after he left the Braves.
    He played on four teams in a three year span during his final major league seasons.

    He made the 30/30 club for two consecutive seasons (1990-91).
    He was involved in a memorable play in Game 7 of the 1991 World Series when he had his leg pulled off the base and was called out.
    He was considered a power hitter with exceptional speed during his prime years.
    He made a successful comeback with the Reds, a year after breaking his leg.
    He pursued a career in broadcasting after his retirement and has worked on sports and news broadcasts in the Atlanta area.
