Why they might be annoying:

They write their name in all caps and add a superfluous exclamation point.
Before forming the band, Nasri wrote songs for Justin Bieber.
Their music has been dismissed as 'tepid reggae lite.'
'Rude,' in which the singer asks his girlfriend's father for permission to marry her, inspired answer records written from the point of view of the dad and the girl.

Why they might not be annoying:

Nasri is half of the successful songwriting and production team the Messengers.
'Rude' was a #1 hit in the US and UK.
Nasri said of their sound, 'It's fun, soulful, easy and you know the hook right away.'
They were at least a more credible Canadian reggae act than Snow.
