The Resume

    (1984- )
    Formed in England
    Line up:
    Jimmy Page - lead guitar
Paul Rodgers - lead vocals, guitar
Chris Slade - drums, backing vocals
    Tony Franklin - bass, keyboards
Recorded the albums 'The Firm' and 'Mean Business'

Why they might be annoying:

They were a supergroup that lasted just two years.
They had but one song reach the Top 40; 'Radioactive' hit #28 in 1985.
Page originally wanted a different bassist and drummer but both his candidates had prior commitments and couldn't join.

Why they might not be annoying:

Page toured to support both albums in 1985 and 1986, the first time in five years he toured with a group after the break-up of Led Zeppelin.
Though album sales were modest, both tours sold out all venues.
Page went on to successfully reunite with Robert Plant, Rodgers has toured with a reformed Bad Company and Queen, and Slade became drummer for AC/DC.
