Why they might be annoying:

They appeared in the sex comedy 'Hardbodies' (1984) as a band called Diaper Rash.
Their best-known song, 'Edge of a Broken Heart,' was written and produced by wuss Richard Marx.
What kind of wild antics did they get up to on the road? According to Gardner, 'Most of the time after the show, we'd get on the bus, pop popcorn, and play Pictionary.' (How un-metal can you get?)
They made an unsuccessful transition from metal to grunge on the 'Tangerine' album.
Kuehnemund sued the other members over rights to the band's name (1998).

Why they might not be annoying:

Kuehnemund formed the original band while still in high school.
They were an opening act for Ozzy Osbourne, the Scorpions and Bon Jovi.
Gardner said about being a female metal band, 'People are always quick to write you off as some sort of novelty thing, so we knew every night we had to be pretty amazing.'
Kuehnemund said, 'There were times when we were asked if there were really guys behind the curtain on stage playing our parts.'
Kuehnemund was called 'the best female guitarist around' by Kerrang!
