Clinton acquired him just before the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, so the two may have shared a doghouse some nights.
He was named after the President's late uncle.
Clinton commented, 'If you want a friend in Washington, you have to get a dog.'
He was killed by a car while chasing after a van.
