Forward for the Montreal Shamrocks (1908-09), Montreal Wanderers (1909-11; 1912-17), New Westminster Royals (1911-12)  and the Ottawa Senators (1917-18)

He was extremely small for a forward.
His middle name is Macarius.
His contributions to the game have been largely ignored by modern hockey pundits.
He played a reckless style of hockey.
He was a member of the New Westminster team that was unable to compete for the Stanley Cup as a result of their late season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered a star player in his hometown of Montreal.
As a rookie, he finished among the top 10 scorers in the ECHA (1908-09).
He scored eight goals in a single game (1913).
He skated in the inaugural game in the history of the National Hockey League as a member of the Senators (1917).
Despite his small stature, he wasn't afraid to play a chippy style of game.
