He's a male model (or, fancies himself to be).
He admitted to throwing competitions on 'Big Brother', partly to keep a low profile.

Why he might not be annoying:

He earned his law degree from Marquette University.
He played NCAA Division 2 basketball.
On 'Big Brother', he declared early on he was not interested in showmances, nor playing a 'personal' game.
He was one of six houseguests of African-American lineage who all made the top 6 thanks to a season long alliance called 'The Cookout'.
After 23 seasons, he became the first African American houseguest to win the US version of 'Big Brother' (non-celebrity), doing so unanimously.
