Why Himeji, Japan might be annoying:

It frequently rains here in July.
It has been vulnerable to typhoons and earthquakes.
It wanted to take the status for the country's capital city away from Tokyo following the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake, but nothing materialized.
It was pummeled by two Allied bombings in World War II (1945).
Some places on Mount Seppiko can't allow women to enter to have the Shugensha not to be disturbed from training.

Why Himeji, Japan might not be annoying:

The Himeji Castle survived a World War II bombing and natural disasters and was named a UNESCO world heritage site.
It is a popular stopover on the way to Kobe.
It contains a zoo, a safari park, a botanical garden, several museums, temples and shrines.
It hosts festivals including a Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival, the Oshiro Matsuri, the Nada Kenka Matsuri and the Himeji Yukata Festival.
The Shoshazan Engyoji was a filming location for the 2003 film 'The Last Samurai.'
Rock climbing is abundant at Mount Seppiko.
Asteroid #29199 Himeji is named after the city and its castle.
